Making the Sportcenter Top Ten on ESPN’s flagship show is a badge of pride. Even the well-paid professional athletes get a kick out of appearing in the rundown of the best plays of the day.
Lacrosse makes occasional appearances on the program’s list – Syracuse’s Tim Desko has had a variety of between-the-legs goals show up this year – but that’s historically been restricted to the world of NCAA ball. Never before had a play in an MCLA club game made it onto the network’s airwaves.

Not to be outdone, Grand Valley goalie (and Forest Hills Central alum) Danny Kransberger decided that his only chance at making it onto the airwaves was with the ever-rare GOALIE GOAL:
Congrats to both guys (and both programs) on getting exposure on sports’ biggest outlet.
