- The varsity era for Michigan lacrosse kicked off over the weekend. Lots more pictures included in the link. Expect the inaugural schedule (including fall ball dates) to be announced soon.
- Quint Kessinich is anxious to see the Wolverines for the first time.
- In case you missed it last week, Michigan women’s lacrosse has hired a head coach, but pushed back the start date for competition. By all accounts, Jennifer Ulehla seems to be a home-run hire. I’ll have more on her when I get the chance.
- Detroit Mercy’s men’s team had their first 7AM Saturday practice of the year over the weekend.
- The Titans will host a “Lax College Clinic” on October 2nd for high schoolers. Visit the link for more details.
- Michigan State is ranked #5 in MCLA D-1 in the preseason, and Davenport holds the top spot in MCLA-2. A pair of Davenport players were on the Minto Cup-winning Whitby Warriors in the Canadian Junior A League.
- Former Michigan player Pat Stansik posts his final blog for Inside Lacrosse.
